Students Win Gold & Silver Medals at National Skills Canada Competition

Chris Fehr wins a Silver Medal in Mechanical CAD, and Ashley Doe brings home the Gold Medal in I.T. Software Solutions from the 2018 National Skills Canada Competition.

(Edmonton, Alberta) - The College is celebrating the amazing accomplishments of four students who qualified to attend the National Skills Canada competition in Edmonton June 5 & 6, 2018 and have come home with some hardware.

Ashley Doe (Office Administration Executive), took the gold medal in I.T. Software Solutions, and Chris Fehr (Mechanical Engineering Technician) took silver in Mechanical CAD. They were tremendous ambassadors for the province and for St. Clair College. And special thanks to their coach/mentors Sherri Epp and Domenico Rossi. Chris will be qualifying at the Skills Canada competition in Halifax in 2019, for the opportunity to attend the World Skills Competition in Kazan Russia in 2019! Our four gold medal winners from the 2018 Provincial Skills Ontario competition from May 7, 2018 and qualified for the National Skills Canada competition.
