The Basics of Supply Chain Management Certification Exam must be written before Dec. 31st to bel eligible to apply this towards the new CPIM program.

Essential to manufacturing education this course will concentrate on the fundamental concepts in managing the complete flow of materials in the supply chain, from suppliers to customers. Concepts and basic terminology are introduced as well as the relationships among activities in the supply chain. Knowledge of the material in this module is a suggested pre-requisite for the other CPIM modules. 5 weeks, 40 hrs. $525.00, text extra. This offering will focus on the various techniques for material and capacity scheduling. This course will include detailed descriptions of material requirements planning (MRP), capacity requirements planning (CRP), inventory management practices, and procurement and supplier planning.
